BV Performance one word -=WOW=!
We had a dyno sesson with Brian at BV Performance and he was AWSOME, we had 4 car tuned that day and everyone went up at least 10 hp. We had a head and camed Z06 that started at 389 rwhp and ended up at 400.1 rwhp, then two stock Z06's one started at 343 and ended up with 353.2 the other Z started at 337 and ended up with 351.2. The biggest suprise was my 96 LT4 that went from 317 to 343.6 and the torque went up from 315 to 345.3. I had a mail order tune before that was crap, Brian is a true professional and really knows his craft

Hey birch64,
I absolutely must dissagree about Brian. He not only got my car over 400 rwhp, but has shown great diligence in working with the shift points. Now that the car is stronger the trans is slipping, and with my sometimes spirited driving, it isn't long for this world. He spent several sessions with me massaging the shift points to keep the slipping trans from hitting the rev limiter, even though we both know it's only a matter of time. In a couple weeks when Kevin installs the FLP trans and 2800 Vigilante, I'm sure that Brian will take any amount of time that's needed to get all perfect. He has been flexible with my schedule and listens to my input. I can't imagine him just saying, "o well" as a solution. He is good at what he does and a good guy.
Birch64, Had my car tuned by Brian to and had the same problem, Shift point all wrong, Horse power way down.He said there is nothing he can do, You can by all the best parts and have the best guyt put them on and if the tuning is off you have nothing, I went to Dan at Finish Line Performance and WOW what a differance, Thank you Kevin at HP for the great work and John Page at 21 Century for all your help, And Dan at Finish line for spending the time needed to make it right after the bad tune, I now have 498.7 HP, What a ride. Ken

ken, thanks for the info. I made an appiontment with dan, at FLP today. cars going in on 14july. no more gypsy tuner for me, go to some of the other forums out there and see what the say about Brian. I wont get into that. Brian wanted two hundred more dollars to fix the shift points that were never right from day one. when he did my dyno tune on 12mar05. I guess as long as your willing to pay, brian will do anything you want. should be done right the first time. at least he didn't blow up my car!
