My friend Garandfan was there with his 3 cars (took 2 awards!) and I was there with my 75. It was a great show, I'll be back next year. It was interesting that they didn't break down the awards by year groups and stock/modified. They gave awards for the top 25. The ACD museum made it worth the trip from the Chicago area for me.
if you like museums when you come down to kruse again go across the highway that is where the car and w.w. 2army vehical museum is.its a good time for not a lot of money
yup, I was there, had to leave early. had the red blown c5...did I win anything????
I read the rules about teh show, must remove all covers, like seat covers, sill covers, bras, and so forth. To me, that is just too friggin nit-picky. My car is as clean as they come, the covers allow me to protect it. they stay on. I bet my car had one of the cleanest undecarriages, but I never saw a judge look under it. Larry Bakers car was simply the nicest one there.
The black c5 with theflames was nice, but the roof scoop was silly. The wings was ok, but the scoop was just fake.
Seen lots of nice stuff. But I made it home before the rain..whee....I will def go next year..
Mainly because I get to tease some stang drivers on the way up...Hope I didnt interupt the auction when I left...
I was parked next to Larry Bakers car and your right, it is near flawless, and is just a gorgeous car, he took a top 25 award and best engine, the black C-5 with the scoop and wing, and murals, (I think they call it Dragon Slayer) got a top 25 award, best custom, and best paint. I got a top 25 award and was real happy with that, considering the competition, we had a good time, enjoyed meeting a lot of new people and will go back next year.

Terry, thanks for the compliment on my 75. Frank actually let Mrs. Fish drive that 04 back to Angola from the show. She was all smiles, especially when we were messing around at 100+ on one short open stretch on I69! Now if I could get her to trade her 05 Mustang in...
