Sunday the 8th: Ladies day...AND girls race free. How can anyone pass that up? Saturday the 14th: Chicago Corvette Club and Northern Illinois Corvette Club race day...this could be really good.
Also both days are "Test and Tune" so anyone can run all day for $25 or so. Plus the drive out to the track is pretty scenic. If the weather is good, it might give me a reason to try out my "new" MT DR's.
Just checking to see if anyone else might be thinking of going.

chris, i would like to make it out there on saturday 5/14. the problem is that i will only have about 2 hours to be there. any chance i can call you before making the 90 minute drive to see if it is too crowded to justify the trip? i would really like to make it out on that day to see what my car will run and i wont be available again until late july.

Hey Joe....
Absolutely....I'll post here a day or 2 before to update whether I'm going to go or not. It does sound like with the 2 Corvette clubs out there it might be a little crowded, but who knows.
Anyway, I'll let you know. Maybe some other guys will be going as well and get there early enough to let you know too. We'll see....
Also, Joliet (Rt 66) track has T and T the same day (and others). It's a little more money but probably more organized. Go here: http://www.chicagolandspeedway.com/c...a&EventID=1488
How about Sunday, The 15th...I would definately be in for Sunday!
Dude....that's Windy City Cobra day at Byron....you just want to take a few Mustangs down a notch or two, huh? Boy, that could be fun... I'll know my schedule better as it get's a little closer. If you can get more of the really heavy hitting (fast) cars like yours there, that would be a really cool time.
Yeah I wouldn't mind beating up on a few Mustangs and egos for a day!

hey chris, that all sounds good for byron on the 14th. as far as joliet goes, i am not welcome there along with some others here. 11's with no roll bar and you're out.

We have 12 guys confirmed for the 14th with the Chicago Corvette Club. Can't wait to run my C6 with the N2O to see what it really can do.
Come on out it will be fun. We have a C5 TT to test too.
I was there 2 weeks ago not very crowded at all.
I'd like to go on the 14th to soon to tell for sure yet but should be able to make it. I need get some times while i'm still stock, the mods are on the way
