Well this seems a little off topic (actually completely off topic) but my wife, sister in law and nephew are going to see Aerosmith tomorrow at the United Center. The kid is only 10 and is a major fan. He is out of his mind being able to see them up close. I can’t handle big venues anymore because I got tired of them when I was in my 20’s and now I’m in my late 40’s. I’m giving my nephew a starter guitar setup (small practice amp, guitar and other little things) for Xmas “So he can rock out” like the package says. I have a Strat that I haven’t spent enough time with, I mostly play by ear. So I just thought I would interject this since others are posting stuff like this. When he sees my guitar he just likes to touch it and is so into it I thought it would be good to give him a chance.
Who knows, maybe he will take it and run with it hopefully.
Aerosmith in Chicago, Rolling Stones here in Dee-troy-it during the Super Bowl -seems rock shows these days are being sponsored by the prune packagers of California. You could put on stage the California Raisins and no one would know the difference!!

I'd guess that you haven't been to any shows lately. The raisins are fat dark colored things with stick legs and arms. Seen Tom Petty or John Melencamp lately? They sure don't look like prunes and thier music cannot be mistaken for the Raisins.

Get some close-ups of the boys in the bands that I listed.
Yea, Aerosmith may be getting long in the tooth, but you would never know it when they are performing. Tyler is a great showman, and Joe Perry is in the zone together with him. If you see Tyler doing an interview he is getting really bizarre looking, with that mouth getting wider as his face gets thinner, but they are like a machine cranking it out in the same way since the beginning. Yea, they lost it for a while, but they have stayed true to their style. Just like AC/DC and a few others that don't care what the flavor of the month is. Rod Stewart was a great rocker in his early years, but he went with whatever the fad was at the time. Come on, "do you think I'm sexy" in the disco days. He sold out like a lot of the others, that aren't really true to their music. The guys that continue to do their thing will never change, regardless what the current crap is.
