The wheels look like off "Pimp My Ride". Does every new car have to appeal to the "Third World" types ? GM....."just a few years behind everyone else ".
The latest numbers I read on the challenger are 425 horse / 3.5 0-60 mph / 13.0 in the 1/4 mile
With a Viper style 6-speed backing it all up.
Base price: $35,000
That would be one fun ride!!!!
POS, If I worked for GM, I would be embarrassed. The next time GM lays off 5 or 10 thousand people, maybe they could take some of the saved money and buy a clue!
They kill the "F" body, take all kinds of heat, Band-Aid it with the ever so popular non retro GTO. Boy they're flying off the shelves aren't they.
Now, after Ford does a retro Mustang and DCX is doing the retro Challenger, they get our the Johnson& Johnson box, for the NAIAS.
Unfriggingin' believable. And to think, I had more faith in Lutz as a hip car guy. Change the name to "RDM" (Rodney Dangerfield Motors) "NO Respect" Motors, Baby!
Despite owning 95 Camaro, I have to go with the new Challenger over this. The interior, looks terrible. The car looks good from a 3/4 view. Side view definitely looks "Mustangish"
From the reaction of the several hundred car industry folks that were staring at the Camaro Concept for quite some time (and the cool video playing behind it) and the many positive comments I overheard yesterday at the show, I would say that Chevrolet did a pretty good job on this one. I don't think it looks like a Mustang at all in person. The car just plain looks mean and nasty.
Hey, with all of the financial woes GM has, I was glad to see ANY concept cars in their corner of COBO.
