I'm going to post this here first to see if I can get some places.
I need to know if anyone knows of a person or place that is VERY GOOD at fixing paint chips in central Ohio. I have a Torch Red vert and the piece that hides the top when it is down has a couple of chips that I'm getting "dinged" on at points car shows. I would like to get them fixed without having to have the whole piece painted as they might have to "blend or feather" the paint on the fenders and trunk. Thanks, Jim
If the chips are small it's not real hard to touch them up yourself. Clean the chips using rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip. Fill the chip with touch-up paint from your local dealer. let it cure for 24 hours minimum, then using a product called LANGKA work the paint blob down to the surrounding surface. I just touched up many rock chips using this process on my Anniversary Red C3, turned out pretty good. More info is here: LANGKA
