N.E. Ohio members step inside

I was thinking of the forum members here might like to do a drive this summer. Say from Summit racing to Ferrante winery in Geneva on a Sunday afternoon weather permiting.Likely the 2nd week of July.I f there is enough interest I will PM the members who check in here and we can firm up what we would like to do.I do know some good roads that I am sure you will enjoy the ride

Ferrante has a good menu but quit serving at 6:00 on Sundays enough time for everybody to get home.So check in here if your intersted

I am not exactly a NE member but live between Columbus and Mansfield. We've been to Geneva and Ferrante before - nice time. Might consider this if it was on a Saturday, then could get a cabin and crash????

Got a lot going on this summer, but keep us posted on how this turns out. Nice idea.

How about Summit to Mid-Ohio?

Then we'll hit Showtime right off I-71

I'm in Detroit but I'm down there all the time. Keep us posted, I would enjoy it. Can't bring the 'vette, though, can I show up in a Jeep?

You could coordinate it with one of the NASA Mid-Ohio weekends and get a couple more out of towners -

Edit - you suggested Sunday

Or any of the Friday nights those same weekends.

Right now I am sorta planning it for a Sunday morning (tenative date 7/16)so the most people can attend.Ferrante Quits serving at 6:00 but I am figuring a 11:30 departure from Summit(they are open Sundays)And arriving at the winery around 2:00 They usually have a band playing in the outdoor area and I always have a good time there myself.If I can get a firm commitment from 20 guys I will start making some calls to both places but the more the merrier.It will be cool to have a Corvette caravan going through Geneva on the Lake I am sure we will plug the sidewalks up.
