Default Anyone use Backstreet Performance

Hi, I am expecting a C6 coupe in a couple of months.

I am going to have some mods done, just intake, headers, cats, and exhaust plus a dyno tune.

Has anyone used this tuner, (Backstreet Performance). They are fairly close to me, (Mansfield OH area).

Does anyone have any other suggestions in the North Central Ohio area? I am about as close to Cleveland as I am Columbus so either direction would be fine.

They bring the portable Dyno to Fun Fest every year. I had my 88 and my 96 Dyno'd there. They seem very knowledgable about what they are doing. That's all I know about them.

They tuned my 02 vert. They did a great job and seem to know a lot about corvettes. Not sure how they are w/C6's...

Well I sent them an email. I talked to them on time about some mods on a C5 but I ended up selling the car.

I think I may take my new C6 there when it arrives for some breathing treatments. I would like to use a forum vendor but they are all quite a distance away.

I am having them install headers and do a dyno tune on my C5 Z06. Just waiting on the headers to arrive.

They are super nice guys. I attended a dyno day at their shop a few years ago and was impressed.

They are very easy to work with and do a great job. They installed my A&A Vortech kit this winter. I have had a bunch of work done by them.

I go there occasionally. Nice little track, nice people.

I usually go to Norwalk raceway, I am in Shiloh so either track is 25 minutes away.

I heard they are building one by the old Mansfield Raceway also. That would be great. I just wish they would all put their week night racing on a different night.

We will have to make a track night one day this spring. I wish 42 would spend some money and fix the track some time. I think they would get alot more business.

Sounds good, my email musicc130@aol.com.

I am scheduled to get my C6 in about 6 weeks. Right now I have nothing to race.

42 is a great place to get a ton of runs. I will probably hit our local 1/8 mile track (Pacemakers) once first to see if I need tires to get the car down the track. Once I get it dialed in, I want to hit Norwalk for the bonzai runs. No place hooks better than that place.

Oh yeah, the car goes to Backstreet tomorrow for the headers.

Which headers are you getting?

Hey sounds like there are a few guys that go to 42 and Norwalk on here.

We need to have a get together.

I agree Norwalk has gret track prep.

I'll see your car down there on Saturday, I'm going to dyno tune my car with the Alky kit.

I want to go to Norwalk once I get tires. The stock F1's arn't going to hook very well.

Doug, let me know what kind of boost and power numbers you come up with. I talked to Eric yesterday about getting a retune with an ECS restrictor plate installed.

They are great guys to work with. I just wish they were a little closer to me... Can't exactly ask someone to follow me up 120 miles to "drop the car off"
