3M Clear Bra Experience
I was hoping to find someone in the forum who could recommend a shop in the Chicago metropolitan area who could install a Clear Bra on my '04 vert. I went to a Windy City Corvette Club event on Sunday and spoke to a fellow owner who had a beautiful '04 coupe with a Clear Bra installed. You could barely see any evidence of it on the car. He was very satisfied with the installation and the protection it gave his car. Unfortunately, the shop he recommended...ProTech in Buffalo Grove has not been answering their phone or returning my left messages. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

ttt for ya. At the last chicago crew lunch I talked to a guy with it on his c6. I will try to remember his name. but hes got a collection of cars and the clear bra on his c6 looked great. I will try to find his name and get it to ya

I'm guessing that this is the Scotchgard film?
If you come near Detroit there is an outstanding installer here, Bob Reid, Car Guy Motorsports, 734-425-1015.
He does it from scratch with full rolls, not a kit and is meticulous about the fit. He also travels some so you might be able to get an appointment closer to you.

Thanks for the replies. ProTech came highly recommended from an owner of a '04 Z06 coupe. I was able to see the work first hand. The color of the car was a dark grey and the only visible sign was a fine line across the lower portion of the hood. This fella had a beautiful, modified vette which from the looks of it he babied. So I going to talk to the ProTech folks.
