Looking for a window tinter
Looking for a place in the downriver/Detroit area to tint my windows. Anyone with any recommendations?? I would have no problem driving a 50 mile radius to someone highly recommended.

Check out the Trim Shoppe in Windsor. 519-974-3383 With the exchange rate i saved some cash over the local shops! They did a great job, very clean, and they were very fast. They do saturday appointments. I was there by 9am, and out by 12pm. Have had them on the car for 4 years now.. .No bubbles or any of the other issues associated with a poor tint job.
While I was there, they had some high end cars in there.. A sweet orange lambo was getting tinted!
I went 20% all around! It appears darker in the picture than it actually is.

Pro tint in Ypsi (Michigan Ave east of town) has done three of my vehicles over the years, and I have been very happy with their work!

I take it nobody here has ever gotten pulled over for having your front side windows tinted
I used to get busted all the time when I had my Trans Am GTA. After the third time I gave up
Every time it was by the state boys in blue
I do want to get my back window done

My last truck and my vette are tinted at 50% all windows, looked nice, but very light. When I went to have my new truck done a couple of years ago, my tinter no longer carried 50%, so I went for 35%, really not much different. Within a year, a ticket for $105, mind you the tint job was only $65 and it would have been $40 to remove it. Being that the ticket was not a fixit ticket, I decided to take my chances going forward, no more tickets yet (where's some wood)
So 15 years plus of vehicles with tint and one ticket, not too bad!
