Hokie, I think your theory about me having the hat, is flawed.
In fact I think an apology is in order, these pictures were posted while I was at a car show.
I DON'T HAVE YOUR HAT.
In fact I am starting to think you are doing it. Maybe it is attention you crave.
Um....I don't think it was Hokie with his hat in NYC...he was at the same car show on Saturday as you! I almost ran into him as he was squealing around the corner on two wheels to get on to 696 heading eastbound, so he could get back home and lay wood planks in his kitchen. I swear, it's true!
For 12 years while I worked in NYC I traveled every morning and evening through the WTC to and from the Path Train. I have only been back to the site once since 9/11 and it was a very difficult time at best. Someone said how quite it was now. It use to be filled with venders and in the summer the park across the street would have bands and all kinds of things going on all the time.
Thanks for the pics still brings back some good memories and also some really sad ones of friends that I lost there.
They are doing some work at the site, but what kind of work I'm not sure. It appeared to me that the work being done was more sewer/storm drain work while I was there.
