Default 12-Disk Cd Changer Install?

Hi guys, I am in the process of trying to find a 12-disk cd changer with cables and all. Once i find it does anyone know someone that could do that kind of installation in the chicago, south southwest or east suburbs or nw indiana?

Thanks for the info.

The install is not hard if you wanted to do it yourself. You can probably search and find the directions.

You also might consider going with an mp3 player instead. This is what I did and I have all my CDs with me without having to change them. Just a thought.

I agree with Coastal. Screw the CD changer, its the digital age man! Go with the MP3 player! Have your entire CD collection in your car at your finger tips!

If not, I know a top notch installer but hes in the western suburbs of Chicago.

Right now I have a a Neo Car Jukebox in it. It was there when I bought it, the computer type unit is in the passenger side rear compartment, and the face plate he mounted in the center console where the ash try was. But it seams to be alittle to difficult for me to work so thats why I thought of the cd changer. I will look at an mp3 player but it might also be to high tech for me?

But I will give it a check I just don't personally wanna attempted removing carpet or whatever to install one. I wonder if I could use the cables that are already run for the Neo Car Jukebox?

I too have a NEO 35 in my 2002:

I put the control head in the center air duct:

because I already had used the ash tray cubby for a ham radio.

I agree with the others... that the installation of the factory CD changer is not all that difficult. Here are links showing the dealer installation instructions:

I love mine; but I specifically wanted an MP3 player. If MP3 is not your game, then I understand you wanting a conventional CD changer.

If you want to use an I pod go to mp3yourcar.com
My 99 did'nt have trunk cable or player and I was going to do the 10 disk route, so glad I didnt. Bought factory cable and I pod cable from mp3yourcar, shortend factory cable(about 12 feet long) conetected it to factory plug at passanger foot area firewall , right side of computer, ran i pod cable from there to ash tray( cable tucked behindash tray and pulled out when needed) If you have factory cd in dash you can control i pod through it. Factory cable in trunk makes it a mindless install.
Just my long 2 cents
