I DON'T GET how you guys can do this and why you just don't wait until the SHI T officially hits the fan. Just bought another MOTORCYCLE today from a guy from MICHIGAN who is deliverying it was we speak and I will be ready both my Z06 and a Motorcyle today!!
If I had my way, I would put wagon wheels and skinny snow tires on it and drive it all winter.
BUT, the wife says I gotta drive Grand Am.... besides all the road courses are closed for the winter. I really don't enjoy driving the car to work that much. Stop and go, soccer moms, weirdos etc.
When I used to only have 1 DD and a C5 in my 2 car garage, I'd keep the C5 at home in the winter and drive it on nice days throughout the year. But the garage is very humid with all the slush dropping off the DD.
I still have a 2 car garage, but have 2 DDs, my son's Impala SS (while he is overseas for a year), and my C3. We also have a caregiver here everyday. Too many cars, too little space. I tucked the C3 to sleep earlier this year in a nice, dry offsite garage.
Drove the Vette to work today just because it was a beautiful day. Stayed off the interstates because those drivers are crazy. Enjoyed the cruise to and from work.
We feel the pain for those of you that have stored for the winter.
