Hello everyone -

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

A number of us have shared information and created a little email list for meeting and then cruising down together to a car show or other related event. We are always looking to add to the list so send me a PM with your contact information if you are interested. Last year, we all met and cruised down to the Gurnee, IL car show. Look forward to seeing everyone at the next get together cruise in 2007 (Dates to be sent shortly). I have listed the guys who joined last year. It would be great to get 75 cars or more following down the freeway to an event in IL or WI.

Hello all,

Hope you won't hold it againest me that I am an Iowan, but I might be interested in joining in from time to time.

And I would also like to put the invitation out to join in on our little trip to the Smokey Mountains (Tail of the Dragon Run), Jack Daniels Distillery, Nashville, Bowling Green (NCM and Assembly Plant Tour) and MidAmerica Motorworks (My Garage Museum) that we are planning for June 2007.

I am a moderator over at our local site for Minnesota Corvette Enthusiasts. Please feel free to join in as we have members from all surrounding states. We are just a fun loving group of car nuts, but I must warn you- we are not a club! No structure, just fun.

I don't mind Iowa - my kid is a senior at Iowa State.

As for the Nashville Trip, now I've got trouble - my wife and I are headed to Nashville from the 7th through the 10th of June and we were planning on going to Memphis for a few days after that - but NC might be just as good - going to have to ponder this one - though she's not too keen on the Dragon's Tail

wow, thats a good list, i would love to see them all show up at a cruise at the same time, gurnee would be hard for me to get to later in the day, (traffic) but it sounds very interesting, i will have to check out the yahoo thing, Matt.

Thanks for the responses. That June cruise sounds interesting and I will check that out. I take it that the dates in June are listed on the website.

I am a Big Ten guy, so I have a few friends that graduated from the University of Iowa. I welcome all Corvette enthusiasts to join the cruises.

By the way....we (NSCC) have our annual All Chevy & Vette Car Show back on Father's Day this year!

(They messed up last year, plus I wasn't involved last year due to my new business venture)

It would be great to have some or all of the group drop in!

Hello everyone -

Just wanted to send everyone a quick note and update you as to our progress. We have added many people to the distribution list, and hope to get 100 cars on our 2007 cruises. The dates of the cruises will be sent out later this week. I expect that we will have three, one in June, August and sometime in the fall. Again, logistics and dates to be sent out later this week.

This is going to take a bit of effort from all of us, so please spread the word and invite all of your friends that have nice rides to the cruises. If you would like them to be added to the list, just send me their email addresses. Thank you in advance for everyone's work on this, as the more cars we get the better it will be. Last year was a blast.
