We had Evil Rex show up on a day when the defense was flat (to be fair, they weren't getting much rest) and the play calling was horrid. That's three strikes and we're out...
I hate to say "I knew it all along" but all year I figured Rex would be our downfall in the end....although our D certainly was not there either yesterday. The Critics were right, and have been all along. We won too many games off our D and special teams...the ONLY reason we beat the Saints was because they could not stop our run..otherwise we would have never made it to begin with.
Going into a Superbowl without a decent QB is like making it to the World Series with no Pitching
Weather really sucked but it took a lot of hard work for both teams to get there. It was anybody's game up until the interception that was returned for a touchdown.
I hope Indy will be able to keep the team together for another run at it and Chicago is going to be tough again next year.
Congrats to both teams. It would be great if both made it again next year.
If the colts would not have been there I would have been backing the bears...
That was honestly one of the most enjoyable superbowls I've watched.
It was close until the 4th Qtr.
The way the bears were playing at the beginning of the game, I thought it was going to be a blow out.
But Manning and the Colts turned things around and started to find small holes in the Bears D.
Next year, The Vikings...
yeah baby. medeocre play all the way!!
