Well the car is cleaned up for the rear end. I have found some clips to finish the gear change and will have a local shop finish it this week. The plan is to install the rear next weekend and if that goes well start on the headers. For those that would like to see some of this happen just let me know. I will start at 10:00 am next Saturday. Here are some pics.

Anyone that wants to stop by is welcome. I don't think there will be too much to do. Putting the rear end shouldn't take too long. Then maybe I'll start on the headers. I figure I'm more than half way there. The exhaust system is off. All I need to do is take the manifolds off remove the starter and dip stick tube.

You know! 4-5 foot drifts across my garage and yard this morning and I can tell where the porch/walk ends and the yard begins! I think we are being paid back for last year

I'm with you on this one. I had to run ten miles this morning in this crap. At a half mile in I rollled my ankle and I thought for a few minutes that I broke it. I started walking and debaiting on turning back and calling off the run, but I didn't. I got the run done about 2 minutes per mile slower then what I should have but oh well.. The ankle is killing me now, I need to get some ice on it.

So, is the car all back together?

Hey, hope your ankle isn't too bad. Got the rear end back together and in. Started the headers and got the left side in. We ran into a problem with the Percy header gaskets. No instructions on what way to put them in. Do you know if it is critical on how they go in?

Yea the dead soft aluminum. I finally found that the smooth side goes against the header according to their web site.

I will say that the L98 is much easier than the LT1 for headers and the TPIS headers are great for an L98.
