Well I got the headers on today. I still have to mount the rest of the exhaust system. Probably get that either tomorrow or Friday afternoon. I am picking up a set of Borla stingers on Friday so the Borla XR-1 race system is available. I will post it in the parts section.
If anyone is interested: I figured out what the first part going down the Bowling Green Assembly line was. It is the back manifold bolt on the drivers side! They must start with that bolt and assemble the rest of the car around it!
Thanks Rick (Vett Tech) for the words of advice at the last Frank Lunch! I owe you one

LEN,
Congrats BRO, nothing like getting on some long tube headers!! Now all you need are some gears (3.90 or 4.10s) and you are all set (honestly) gears will REALLY WAKE up your vette more than anything you can do short of forced induction or touching your motor! See what a bad influence we are on you bro and you thought this place was free!
Most C5/6 gear heads will tell you to optimize the extra power of the long tubes a dyno tune will be in order and if your going to go with a cold air intake system (if you don't have one already and i know you see you got the veneralbe battle tested blackwing good choice) of course get tuned after the c.a.i. system gets put on!!
Back in 03 I had a brand new sweet MYellow Z06, and the ony mods i did to that bad boy were the perfect bolt on mods of c.a.intake, 4.10 gears, Long tubes, and a dyno tune (which was the best way to really open up your perf. without going or really jeopardizing any warranty you may have, etc.! ASK DON JOHNNY how he likes those 3.90 gears in his A4 or how RANDYVETTES likes the 4.10s in CAROLs C5 A4 vert or how CHRIS (CZELZ) likes his 4.10s in his M6 tranny bad boy hardtop!

Hey No problem! I bet your glad you're done with the header portion of the install....
Yep when they assemble them, the suspension and drivetrain are mated to the body probably half way down the assembly line. So the engine assembly is exposed the whole time eveything is being bolted together... Not to give away all my secrets, but I use a ratcheting box wrench to get to the header bolts.. makes it a bit easier...
