Personally, HP Performace in Mundulein (right around the corner from you) is a really great shop that has done great work on my C5.
Lots of guys here use them too. http://www.hpperformancecorvettes.com/
Stay tuned, I'm sure you'll hear more.
That being said, there are a lot of great shops around Chicago. Do a search here to see all your options. Good luck with your "Mod Fever".

When you get around to the "Performance" stuff go see Dan Bills at Finish Line Performance in Naperville, Il (630-717-0824) he ends up
"fixing" a lot of the work done by other shops. The FLP reputation for doing quality work has been around for many years!!!

I've been very happy with HP's work - and their customer service is top notch. FLP has a strong rep, too, though I haven't had cause to use them.

HP Performance has done all the work on my car. I wouldn't let anyone but Kevin touch it.

Default Chicagoland has many good shops!!! We are sooo lucky!!

If you looking to have a supercharger installed there are many shop's in the area that can do that. Also most of them can tune with the exception of a few.

Most have in house Dyno's and have many satisfied customers

As far as powder coating i dont think any of the shops do that

Stripes can be done by most however I think only a few do it or want to.

I have used Speed Inc and FLP so I know they can deliver

Good Luck and hope it all works out for you.

My advise to you is call the shops and get a comfort level and price then check references and make you decision

Vic

There are plenty of shops that will put the strips on it does not have to be a Vette shop, As far as lowering you can go to just about anyone, If you are going to have a blower installed or any engine work done try FLP, He is a heavy hitter in the FI family and he has fixed alot of the other so called good shops problems. Talk to Mitch and let us know how it works out, I don't think he does the strips and lowering stuff as he is more into the performance stuff but you can call, 1-877-357-2946. Good luck

We can lower it and I have a friend that can do the stripes for you. I also deal with a company that can powdercoat your rims.
