I usually do the MFBA event at RA in Mid-April, but can't make it this year. I feel bad for the people signed up...it's suppose to be 38 with rain/snow and high winds on Saturday and 40 on Sunday (down to 32 Saturday night). Certainly not the kind of track conditions for high speed driving. Be careful out there, and hope they are wrong with the forecast.

The forecast is looking pretty decent now, I'm signed up for Sunday, same as last year.

I'm really torn. I signed up, and it's going to be dry, but it's really no fun when it's really cold. Even if it warms up, I hate the first sessions when it's still below freezing.
The cost of the event is gone, no getting that back. But do I want to spend the money on the hotel, and gas (and you go through a lot of gas in one of these weekends) if the weather's gonna suck?
I guess I'll make my final call on Friday morning, since Friday afternoon would be the time to drive up.
Yeah, I've done that in the past. It also lets other drivers blow the dust off the track and start to lay down a little rubber.
Looks like I'm gonna miss the whole thing - family stuff I need to take care of in the opposite direction. Nothing serious, thankfully, but somewhat time sensitive.
