One more done
Worked most of this weekend and got the exhaust on permanently, gave up on lowering the front after wasting most of Friday and finished painting the front rotors and calipers. Here's some pics.

Nice work! I plan on changing the diff and tranny fluids this coming week/weekend. I'm using Mobil 1 synthetic in the rear along with 2 bottles of GM posi fluid. The ZF6 will get BMW synthetic fluid.
Then I have to dust/clean under the hood and take a Mother's Power Ball to the brightwork.
Gotta pretty her up for the Battle Creek show in Marshall and Cruise In.

Are you talking about the "c" brackets that hold the spring to the frame?
The only way I can think of how to is to remove the motor mount bolts, lift the motor up and then get a wrench on the top and a big impact wrench on the bottom.
You could try a little heat but that could be bad for the spring.

Well if you are lowering it you will be cutting those cushions off anyways.
Oil and heat is the only way you can get those brackets off.
