Default Racing fuel stations.

Does anyone have a list of gas stations that sell racing fuel. I live in Mchenry County, IL and the closest one I know of is in Elgin.

keep em coming guys, who else sells 100 unleaded racing fuel in the west or n west suburbs. I went to the Rolling Meadows cruise night tonight in my mean green 1970 Dodge Charger Machine, and found that a the gas station on Golf road (on north side of street) 1/2 block west of Alqonquin Road, sells 100 octane racing fuel, but looking for a a station a little closer to Elmhurst/Villa Park/Lombard area!

http://www.sunocoinc.com/Site/Consum...s/Illinois.htm

Mopar Jim I usually fuel @ Irving & York. They are on the list. I also can get 55 gal drums. Some don't want to store that much though.

Jim,

The last time I checked, the Delta Sonic gas station on Ogden (West of Main St.) in Downers Grove sold 100. I'm not sure if they still do, because it's been a while since I bought gas there.

Thanks!

We can also add the 66 station in Barrington on Rt. 59 (Hough) just north of Lake Cook (County Line Rd).

I always keep TORCO octane additive around just in case.

This is NOT Octane booster, which is worthless.

Directions on the can to mix with 93 octane to make 97, 100, 105, 110.

As you may know, the only fuel that goes into my car is 100 octane.
104 -107 on race days.

So if I go out on a longer cruise and don't want to get stuck, I bring a can of TORCO Octane additive with me.

TORCO is the official race fuel provider for IHRA.
And you NHRA fans know they sponsor many NHRA cars.

Go to their web site to find a dealer, they can ship to your door.
Heck, you can order a 55 gal drum of Nitro Methane from them if you want

There used to be a Phillips 66 station on Virginia in Crystal Lake that used to sell race gas. There's always Performance Unlimited north of McHenry on 31 near Johnsburg Rd - they sell Turbo Blue.

TOMMY,

Last I looked that station you reference on York was a CLARK station and they quit selling 100 octane a couple of years ago! I take it this other station you reference you have gone there within the past several months?

Before I take a spin out there this is defiintely still in existence? Planning to take the BIG MOPAR down the 1320 at DA GROVE and want to treat her to the good stuff for some solid 13.XX time sliips and no detonation!

Haven't seen you at Woodfire Chicken Grill the last two Saturday nights. You should try to make a Monday night at Westchester as its a BLAST from the PAST with the MAYOR letting 10 car burnout while they launch at the end of the night!

N/E corner of Wolf Road and 31st street in Westchester, IL!
