I have learned the hard way to keep my mouth shut . this forum is very political when it comes to it's vendors . I understand it they pay the bills .......... in J's original post he stated nothing about the quality or power the Lg headers make or do not make . he is going in a different direction and no longer needed those parts ............then he puts up the selling price for charity .........you have nothing to apologize for your a class act ...............

J smart idea, give it one final try and move on I was in a similar situation last year. It's ashame because some of these major vendors on the forum have gotten such a good reputation, that when a person does have a problem or issue, they are afraid to post up because the BIG BAD VENDOR and all their little solider wanna'be's follow suit to assault someone.
What's really frustrating and scary about this, is that as you said 10 times over, you never said anything negative, or you went with vendor x because it was better..yet it still turns into a pizzing match and everyone reads way to far into it.

You did nothing wrong Jay. Lou was just probably pissed cause you dumped his headers. Won't be the first time. Certainly not the last. Maybe they should worry about fixing peoples cars. I'm not going to name anybody, but someones car is drinking oil!!!

I don't understand, somebody got a nice set of headers at a great price, money is raised for a good cause, LG gets some promo, and this turns into a header war?

Totally uncalled for IMHO. The sad thing is the generosity of J as the original intent of the thread got lost.
I think LPG needs some PR help for damage control. He easily could have corrrected himself after the initial mis-interpretation, and said that his perception was what it was, but J helped to explain it and called it a day. But the fact that he kept pushing and challenging shows desperation on his part - and I think a lot of people on this forum will see that for what it is. Too bad - no doubt he's got a good product.
Anyway, A+ class act my friend.

I can't believe this went this way for someone that was trying to give someone a good deal on some headers and then turnaround and donate the money to a great cause, Now I heard it all, Jay I'm not sure if I ever met you but good job and don't let it get the best of you, Keep up the good work.

Thanks again for the support, gang. I've chalked it up to a learning experience about a certain vendor that saw significant business from me, but won't ever see another penny. Manhood-measuring contest aside (I, won, for what it's worth ), I got the money for the charity, and that's all that really matters.
