Any USG Sheetrock 400 Race / Nextel Cup Fans here?
Lori and I plan to go to the USG Sheetrock 400 Nextel Cup race on Sunday July 15th.
Normally we do the RV thing at Paul and Mary’s. This year we plan to do the tailgate thing in the main lot before the race for a change of pace. Any advice on shortcuts in, and out of the track to AVOID traffic would be greatly appreciated. We are coming from the Northwest Burbs.
Also if anyone knows of any tickets available, please PM me as I may be able to find a needy fan or 2 to use them (Pit Passes too ????).

Hey Don, I have been down there before. Not really any short cuts I am aware of. As is typical in IL, they build something like a race track, and then figure out afterward how to manage the traffic
My advice, leave early, 20 laps to go, but that's not fun cuz you miss the end of the race
Have fun anyway. Nascar tailgating beats any tailgating around

Not so quick DON, I just left the BERKLEY car show early to see the start of Sunday's Race.
