Tech II tool needed

anyone in the northwest chicago burbs have access to a tech II? i need a radio unlocked on my daughters cavalier. the radio is a stock 2002 delco cd player.

have you tried using the code finder here in the tech tips. I think you can use it on other gm delco headunits. it basically tells you how to get it unlocked

hey dave, I tried the tech tips and found something that after 2000 you need a tech 2tool,
those directions on the dash removel worked great....had it out in 15 minutes......thanks

np, sucks about the radio and needing the techtool. what a load of crap. see if kevin can maybe help you out.

Took it to HUNTLEY CHEVROLET in huntley, took the guy 5 minutes with the tech II tool and got it taken care of........AND HE DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME......guy told me next time i'm looking for a car or service hopefully i'll remember them......
