i was originally gonna post a message about a brush with high speeds and then found out that my thread would get removed. Sorry!!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? No triple digit driving posts? Hmmmmmmm-not that RC would ever break the Posted but Im sure Ive seen many many posts to that effect.
I'm told it has to be "track only posts" when not obeying the speed limits. I'm disappointed but at least i got to experience it live in person and no one can take that away.By the way... It was a healthy 3 digit speed

None of us ever go over the speed limit on the street and obey all traffic laws. To do so in a Corvette would be childish and criminal-like behavior. That's why my car has never been over 55 mph. The only reason I bought a white car was to signify my purity and dedication to upholding all of the traffic laws of the great state of Illinois.

I didn't realize this was such a self righteous forum! While i understand the idea of being responsible i guess i figure i can take a measured risk once in a great while. In no way do i mean for my posts to be endorsed by this forum's legislators and once again i'm sorry if i'm breaking some rules. Guess i'll go back to being a good boy now. By the way... is this forum run by a corporation or just corvette enthusiasts ? Is it one person or many ? step forward and show yourself please , Thankyou!!

I always watch my HUD to make sure I am not one fraction over the posted. I really wonder why the speedometer goes up so far but of course I will save it for the track to see what my RC can do. never ever down a nice paved back road would I even consider just for a second kicking in the Borlas They are of course just a cosmetic enhancement to my baby.

It's what I refer to as the "Ostrich Theory". If you bury your head in the sand and ignore it, it doesn't exist. I'm so glad I grew up in the 50's and 60's. There weren't warning labels on everything and you got a slap on the back from your buddies for a good street race, not a slap on the wrist for even talking about it.
