Default ***2008 Changes At DTE***

We have some exciting news for 2008 and the future!

Since our inception in 2001, Dynotech Engineering Inc. has experienced exceptional business growth year after year through hard work and passionate dedication to the GM sports car we love the most- The Chevrolet Corvette!

That business success certainly hasn’t come by accident and consistently working those long 70, 80 and 90 hour weeks month-in and month-out for years (including most weekends and Holidays) to build the business where it is today, have finally paid off!

With that said~ As of 2008, we’ll undergo a corporate name change from our current name everyone is familiar with, to DTE Powertrain- as we focus our operational efforts towards the future by taking our growing company to the next professional level of vehicle performance, product engineering and industry presence!

We feel this new name more accurately reflects where we are today in the high performance Corvette industry and now fully encompasses where we’re heading in the future. Add to that a new high-tech logo we’ll also be rolling out, with a new fully interactive website to match our new corporate name and you’ll soon see what we’re so excited about!

We’re also expanding!

DTE’s 10,000 sq./ft. facility sets on approx. 2.4 acres of commercial property in Fort Wayne, with only a small portion of that used currently. In the future, we’ll be increasing our facility “footprint” size on that property to accommodate the expansion. Also in the coming weeks/months, we’ve scheduled the delivery of new, high-tech equipment, machinery and updated CAD/CAE/CAM development software that will enable us to further develop, engineer and manufacture our already extensive heavy duty IRS product lines and do it with greater accuracy / speed than ever before! Add to that our extensive Corvette Performance Package development we’ve been successfully building upon for the last 6 years now and it’s easy to see that good times are in store for the Corvette enthusiast from DTE Powertrain!

Be sure to check out our new website www.dtepowertrain.com as it unfolds these next couple of months and you can grow with us! We’ve got *A LOT* of new, innovative Corvette driveline components of our own design that we’ll be releasing very soon, which will most definitely raise the drive train performance / durability bar for the C5 and C6 Corvette!

Lastly, we would also like to take a moment to thank you, our valued customers, for your continued support over all these years in allowing us to be who we are today! We’ve built products for some of the fastest/trickest Corvettes in the world and along the way; we’ve made many good friends too- which has been a real bonus over everything else. Building those friendships through a common interest in Corvette’s is what makes all of this worth while! Again, from the entire staff here- we sincerely thank you for your continued support and business!

Best Regards,
Phil Rickard
President/CEO/Owner
DTE Powertrain Inc.

Sweet!

Fellow hoosier here who just bought my first vette ever in December. Definately need to get it to you sometime this Spring so you can perform your tuning magic (everyone I have spoken to since I got the car has stated that you guys are the best - and that is all I care about) and I have been contimplating getting some gears and upgraded DTE rear-end parts installed at the same time.

Best of luck to you in all of your new ventures!!

Great. Just great. Now I'll have to change my FRCs.
Congrats on the growth to everyone at DTE. I'll have to make a trip up there and see the progress - BUT I'M LEAVING MY WALLET AT HOME.

Almost forgot~ Now that we've refined the production processes of our products over the years- particularly the popular DTE Differential Strut kits, we've been able to reduce production costs on our end, which in turn reduces product costs for you as we pass down the savings.

The new 2008 DTE Differential Strut pricing is as follows and they are all produced in red powder-coat, with the next *huge* production run being completed during this month. This newest run will have even lighter weight components, easier installation, more compact to fit into even tighter chassis configurations and easier-to-understand installation instructions than ever before.

1997-2004 C5/M6: $349
1997-2004 C5/A4: $349
2005 C6/LS2/A4: $339
2005 C6/LS2/M6: $339
2006-2008 C6/LS2-LS3/M6: $339
2006-2008 C6/LS2-LS3/A6: $339

- Fully insured, regular ground FedEx shipping: $18 anywhere in the lower 48-States.
- Free shipping when accompanied with a differential order at same time.

*$30 savings for C5 applications
*$40 savings for C6 applications

Thanks again everyone for your support and business. Have a nice weekend!

Hey Phil,

I have the same "problem" as Eric! I've had the DynoTech Engineering stickers on my FRCs and my rear fascia ever since you folks did your magic on my C5. I'm gonna have to get my hands on the new logo as well. I gotta keep up with Mr. VetteCop ya know! (I refer to all LEOs as "Mr." ).

Unlike him, I'm ready to head back to your shop for some more fun stuff so I'll need to bring the wallet.

Congratulations on the success of DTE. You, Jenny and the gang worked hard for it and you deserve it. Can't wait to see the new facility...

Hey Mr. Paul! Glad you like the Vette and it's always a pleasure to shoot the breeze with you! I agree on that "Mr. Leo" thing....especially when we have guys like Eric running around "watching" for us..

Hey Phil, I never got stickers! When you get the new one please let me know, OK? As soon as it warms I have to trailer a kid with a 550 HP Lambo that thinks I'm stock. Then I'll put the stickers on.

What????? You didn't get decals?????? That's it.....someone's getting fired around here!!

Don't worry, we'll send you some and the only reason why the other guys got stickers when they were here was because one guy is a LEO and he has guns.... One guy was bigger than me.... and the other guys just plain said, "hey, gimme some of 'dem stickers"! What could I do???

We'll take care of you Don and don't beat up on that Lambo too hard...they spent a LOT of money on that thing and their feelings might get hurt if they got too big of a spankin' from these "silly 'ol" Vettes..

Thanks Phil.

Regarding the Lambo, like I told him - my Vette's almost stock, it has intake and exhaust. Right? Bottom line is you enhanced the intake and the exhaust and it has a tune. Now if he thinks it's only a Vararam and headers that's not my problem. Also said he shouldn't be afraid of an old man in a plastic car.

Thanks again to you and Jen for everything, Don and Barb

Can you elaborate on the "easier installation" for the Differential Strut? Does it still require the lowering of the sub-frame on an M12 car?

Thanks!

Our instructions state to lower it one inch to gain easier access to the trans. tunnel area, but many folks have done it with and without doing this as their preference.
