Black Friday (layoffs)
I just got out of a meeting, there was a "reduction" today, lost 12 in my department.
More to come Jan 1st
I told my apartment to put me on a month to month
If I can't find anything I might be moving out of Michigan. :cry

For now, but I'm glad that clutch I blew was under warrenty!

Well we got the announcement last Thursday, my place of employment will be closing its doors sometime in February. I got to read ther termination notice on the wall today, 300 hourly and 36 (including me) salary staff permanently layed off as of Feb 13th. There is a good chance im getting transferred to another facility of ours 20 mins away. All I can say is they better hurry up and let me know whats going on or I am jumping ship.

Sorry to hear about your situations!!! So much for HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!! I just dont understand the ethical logic for laying off people, or warning them that they are about to get canned, during the holiday season!! The business logic on the other hand, is a different story itself!

I hear all of you guuys! December 3rd was our companies deadline to take the resignation package, which I decide not to do and wait this crap out.
I'm reasonably certain I should be ok, but who really knows?

BTW, drove through Ohio on the way to BG, and didnt find anything exciting there!
