Default Watch Out!!!

Tomorrow morning our very own Vettewrench installs sway bars thicker than tree trunks on my car! I will out corner everyone in sight including Don.

Standard 30MM and 26MM bars, I have the crossbar ready to go in and will pick RD racing new camber brace for the front. I want to go to Z07 or Z51 or some aftermarket springs too but I am still researching the best option there.

Unfortunately when Vettewrench put the car up in the air we noticed the rear axle seals are leaking so I left the car with him this week to take care of that and as long as the exhaust had to come off I figured he might as well throw on a new Corsa :D

Bummer on the seals.

You will love the car after the Cross-Bar is installed. It was a night and day difference on my car. I saw the post about the camber brace. Let me know how you like it. I'm thinking of ordering one, but wanted to wait to hear some feedback on it.

Geez, you sound like me. When I was in the process of changing heater hoses ($10 job, right?), I decided that I'd go ahead and remove the air pump since it was semi-in-the-way of the hose on the manifold. Oh, there are tubes inside the manifold that need to be removed? Guess I'll have to take the manifolds off since I can't seem to get the dang tubes out. Well, the exhaust is unbolted from the manifolds and now I need a few new manifold studs. Might as well order the true dual exhaust from Mid America when I order the manifold studs. The stock mufflers won't come off the Y-pipe? Now I hear a baffle rattling in one of the mufflers, guess it's time for new mufflers too. I just love these "while I'm in there" jobs. Hey, I could have gotten headers and an X-pipe too but I know I'll be removing the exhaust in a year or two when I do the suspension. I'll do the exhaust the "right" way then.

Cars stuck at Vettewrench, see above, leaky axles seals and as long as he has the exhaust off I am gonna have him throw a Corsa on. I am not lowering the rear for varying reason all of which I'll tell you about another time.

C4 4Me,
I am still learning the car. When I took it to the track, I had less then 100 miles of seat time, and most of those miles were on the way to the track.
Maybe with some new tires (these are the originals) and some nice temps I might have a shot. If not, Ill just Slap on some 4:10's, a catback, an airlid, and a 100 shot and so on, and so on, and so on..............
