I have the 3M on both my C5 Z06s, Trailblazer SS, Cobalt SS and Jeep Cherokee. No problem with pitting from HPDEs. Have additional coverage on the fender well and roof line. I use Rick at http://www.body-skins.com/

Not to hijack this thread but Rudyarias, how do you like your Trailblazer SS? I'm about to pull the trigger on one.

Love it. Its decent when I tracked it at Road America and the Autobahn Country Club. I originally bought it for a tow vehicle but the fuel economy is terrible because of the 4:10 front and rear ends. I'm thinking of switching them down to 3:42 to make it more "interstate friendly".

Try contacting Just J too - he had, I believe, the 3M product and really loved it. But I think he had it done in Dallas, even though he's in Arlington Heights.

I'm about to do a clearbra install on my '08 Z06 w/ bodyskins in the next 2 weeks. They are 3M.

I have the name of another group that does ventureshield, but he was hard to get a hold of. So I figured I would try Bodyskins.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I have Venture Shields on my C6, and I love it. No issues, and the install is professional. PM me if anyone wants the installers number.

That's correct - I had it done in Dallas where I bought the car so it would be protected for the long drive home.

I love the film, but there were clearly some installation issues in a couple of spots, so I may get it redone before cruise-in this year.

VentureShield is a 3m fim.

And Just J... I would take that back if I were you. The installer should warranty their install. Sounds like you had a poor one done.

Well, since the drive is a little over 1,000 miles each way, I think I'd rather just pay to have it redone locally.

Body Skins is still in business. You need to give him a call. I have had a few occasions where I have tried to contact Rick and he does not recieve emails through his site. His number is 847-530-8443.
