Post your ideas for May/June lunches and Events-we are looking at May 31 and June 28 for lunches. Post if these dates work or other possible dates/ideas................

We are out for this weekend...bound for Austin, TX to watch Trina's dad swim in the masters swim competition!
We'll put our heads togethwer..maybe it's time for a Kalamazoo invasion!?

Well , My Summer is Pretty well Shot . I can't play Golf , Ride the Motorcycle , or Drive a Vette . Broke my right foot and having Surgery this coming Tues. Doc. says maybe end of Aug . I'll be able to enjoy those 3 things .

Do any of you know of any events at MIS where we can drive a few laps at the speedway? I know other tracks around the country offer events for classic cars and corvettes.

This idea is far out (in Lake Michigan). How bout taking the crew on the Lake Express from Muskegon to Milwaukee and tour that fine city's beer manufacturing facilities some time this summer? You could even meet up with the Milwaukee crew for a guided tour.
I took my vert to Bloomington Gold in '06 by way of Milwaukee and had a blast!
All Star - I hope this did not affect your drinking hand! Good luck man!





If you did this I'll bet you could do a write up for Corvette Fever or Corvette Enthusiast magazine and get published Deb. Could be the start of a new photojournalist career!

Hey Clark. In the past MIS has had a Corvette Weekend. Its an open wheel race, and the Vettes get to showcase in the infield, plus have a lap or 2 around the track. I normally get the flyer here, but haven't seen it yet. I think its around July or August. Hope to see you soon. Terry

Man I'm really sorry to hear this. Been laid up for months myself. Hang in there, and concentrate on healing so ya can get back at it.

Sorry to hear that Jeff. It took my friend 3 months to "start" driving and walking..........Hopefully you will heal fast and have time to enjoy the summer

We need to pick a place with a longer drive. We seem to lose a lot of the crew after lunch.
