Will the Rolling Meadows curse continue?
The fine cruise-night put on by the Rolling Meadows Cruisers started early this year and has had nothing but lousy weather to show for it. It looks like it the rain could just miss it by the 5:30pm start tonight. IF it does I hope to see you there!
I hate to be a pessimst, but weather channel is saying storms starting at 3pm ending around 8pm... that could change but as crazy as the weather has been lately, even if it does not rain at 5p, it could easily start anytime this evening.
Rolling Meadows curse is right!!! I hate complaining, but we wait all winter to enjoy these events, and then it ****n rains every week

OK, so I could be wrong! I just drove home through pounding rain from Fox lake to South Barrington. It hasn't rained (yet) here in H.E. but so far it looks like the "cruse" is alive and well!!!
Couldn't make it out today. It was my grandfather's 92nd birthday! Only been to the show this year once about a month ago. Weather has been horrible. Hope next week will be totally clear.

I actually took a little drive down to Downers Grove around 4:30 pm for a change of pace and one of my farvorite cruise nights, where I was met by some very dark clouds and some light sprinkles which of course killed the show and turnout! Needless to say it was a waste of a trip back and forth!
The friday night curse is alive and well (8 weeks in a row) and looks like I should of headed north today to R. Meadows at 4:30 pm and not south!
