Well I just tried to renew my XM and they told me no $77.00 renews. Only can get that if they send something in the mail for that so I told them no thanks. The car is in winter storage anyway so i will try back in the spring. You would think as bad as times are they would offer something but she told me no specials. They gave me the 77.00 price on the second call

I did cancel, to me it's not a big deal as I've lived with plain vanilla radio forever and I have a great collection of CDs to put in the 6 CD player my Corvette has anyway.
I was on the phone with them about it and all I got was repeated threats about the $50 reactivation fee if I did not extend my service now at the price they wanted, no deals except 3 month extension free because the car would be in storage for the winter.

I cancelled mine on the Z about 3-4 weeks ago. But I kept it on my Acura. Lo and behold an envelope arrived in the mail with the $77 offer to re-activate the Vette's XM. I got the same run around from them when I tried to renew the Vette at the same price I had before. The letter has no date that the offer expires so I wil wait until about February or so and maybe renew it then. good luck!

They must have changed their policy then. I called to tell them to cancel my subscription to XM on my '08 Equinox and they offered me the $77 one year renewal and if I paid by credit card, they would knock another $13 off. So I ended up with another year of service for $62. They never sent me anything in the mail or by e-mail.
But, honestly when this subscription runs out, I'll probably cancel.
