yeah i agree with the guy that wants to stop in KY. anyone wanna go in a convoy with this group and then everyone from this area maybe sidetrack to bowling green and go to the plant, then come back up in our own group? I would enjoy doing this convoy but tennessee is a long ways.

more info:

the pre-registration for the entire week-long event is $65 up until May 27. After that it's $80.

a one-day vehicle pass is available at each stop for $25... available that day - at that particular events location.

If you plan on registering for the entire 7 day event... I'd suggest calling it in (877) 413-6515; as their online registration system is foo-bar'd

I'll be doing the long haul again this year.
This is my yearly vacation, and will make my 7th long haul.

The Power Tour is all about driving your car, and you will have about 2,500 cars driving right along with you.
The best part of Power Tour, is the drive each day between stops.

I remember the rain at the Racine stop in 2007 very well!
How about 4 generations in the rain.

My wife and I did the long haul in our '65 roadster last year and are planning to do the same again this year. We are from the McHenry, IL area. We meet up with another local from Northern IL driving a '64 roadster. Had a good time together.

We plan on visiting the BG plant and NCM again on the way home from the tour. It is only about 250 miles from the end of the tour in Bristol, TN and is on the way home for us.

I envy you guy.

Is it even worthwhile to try and get all the Corvettes (or the CF Corvettes) to park together?

I will be at the Dayton location before the tour caravan arrives. I can try to get a CF area setup; but since I've never been to one of these I don't know how feasible this is ?

Yeah, that would be nice. But it won't be feasible, unless the group all arrive at the same time.

At each venue, you have to remember you will have close to 1,000 cars that just come for that one day.
Then once all the long hauler cars start to show up (remember they are driving in from the previous nights stop), there will be close to 3,000 cars total!

Every car that gets into the venue will be required to have a sticker in the windshield. Long haul cars will have a different shape/color sticker than the rest of them.
As the cars start to come in, they direct you to parking based on what sticker you have. Of course some people will ignore the directions and just go park where they want.
This usually isn't too much of a problem.

But trying to find friend once inside the venue can be next to impossible sometimes. There are groups that park together though.

If I pull in and see some other Corvettes around, I usually try to park close to them.
But sometimes it's hard to predict that. Cars are rolling in one after the other and you don't have time to cruise around looking for the best spot.

But we can do our best!

Like I said earlier; the info I had second hand...

Now being told the lead car will arrive around 1:00 to 1:30 in Dayton; but it takes hours for all of them to make it into the parking lot and get parked. I personally don't plan on arriving until noon.
