Sorry to hear that Deb The whole country is bad, but Michigan is terrible. I have heard it said that when one door closes another opens; I hope you find it soon.
Thats terrible news Deb, problem is there is not much good news out there. But with your contacts and working experience I am sure you will land on your feet soon. I wish you and everyone in the same boat the best of luck, and I hope things turn around soon.

This is as bad as i've seen it in 30 years in Chicago. Cant believe the company i work for is still afloat. Down to working a couple days a week if lucky. And i am lucky. This will turn around, hopefully soon.
Good luck to everybody out there looking for work. We need the Olympics here in Chi town, but something tells me we ain't gonna get them.

Sorry to hear what happened Deb. Hope everything works out for you. I haven't been on the forum for awhile darn facebook. Well chin up and we will see you on the 21st.
it'll be fine, i think we're just in a "reset" where individuals and businesses are paying for living over their means, all of the skilled workers worthy of being on someone's payroll will be back in action once this blows over (hopefully soon)... back to basics
