WOW, I am SHOCKED, although he may be a bit of a headcase he has LOADS OF TALENT and potential and is YOUNG and I would have bet against the BEARS finally stepping up to the plate (FREAKING AWESOME)!!
Pace is a hell of a player - 7 time pro bowler - we were weak on the line. Cutler will be interesting to watch. Now Turner has to go. Anyways it'll make for a much better season for the Bears
Da Shuperfanz approve of dis trade. More shausaaage at QB & da O line. Gonna help. Daaa Bears ! Hey Todd, I'll order youz yer new Cutler Jersey from Morrie Magers, XXXXL right?
What did they have to give up to get him? Last I heard Denver wanted two first round picks for Cutler.
We really gave away nothing IMO - Kyle ZZ Top Orton, our 2009 first round pick (#18) and our #1 2010 draft pick (TBD). We have not done well with first round picks - ie. Cedric The Entertainer Benson, Cade 5' 11" McKnown, Rex The Hex Grossman and Rashaan Salami Salaam.
If you cant stop the rush, it doesn't matter who is back there. One thing for sure is Cutler has a great arm. The Bears haven't seen a arm like this since Bobby Douglas. Could throw the ball 80 yards but couldn't hit a barn from 10.

Although he is no spring chicken we also just picked up Orlando Pace to help shore up our O-Line that does need HELP! Although Pace is getting UPTHERE in age i think he still has 2 good years in him and hopefully are #1 draft pick (can't think of his name who had the back surgery last year) will come into his own as many predict.
This should make for a MUCH more exciting Bears 2009 season with pickig up Cutler who has LOADS of talent and can even has decent mobility and can escape a pass rush (something Orton really struggled with).
