Default Rt 38 open

Anyone know if RT 38 is open going west to Kautz Rd? I heard that they were doing work at the railroad crossing just east of there. Like to come in the back way to BG. Thanks for any info.

38 is open as far as I know. They reopened the tracks at the end of last week. I have not been over the tracks but all off the detour signs are gone. I drive though 38 and Kirk everyday on my way to work.

Yeah I think its back open for business - traffic on Kirk Road the last few days has been light so I guess the 38 detour is done.

Kirk has been light until the pavement buckled just north of 38
