A gentleman that is currently working on my jobsite is literally weeks away from retiring and has alway's had a dream of owning a 1964 through a 1966 vette. I believe he wants one from around the time he graduated high school? Anyway, his wife has given him the "green" light to purchase. He wants something that needs some TLC and runs. He say's he has $30,000 to spend. He does not have alot of free time right now to go to show's because he has been very busy with kids moving out and getting his retirement items in order.
If anyone can point me in the right direction or know's of anyone, let me know?

Met this guy at Bloomington Gold. His name is Rod and he along with his son own a very nice white with red interior 64 convertible. The car ran good (he drove it down from Wisconsin) and looks good. It is not a fixer upper though.
E-mail him at corvetterod53@yahoo.com and he can send pics and details.
That would be the C2 Gen. I dont know what he'll get for (not that 30k is not a lot) but i think those cars, even for the less desireable ones go for quite a pretty penny unless its something youd pick up as a complete restoration that needed to be done. I dont really know much about the older model vettes though, from what i hear from my dad talking, theyre the really expensive ones.

Here are some pics. I think it had the original motor and had been rebuilt.
If I was gonna spend 30 grand for a c2 ,he might want to look further south ,cause those c2s that have been around here all their life have been driven thru the winter, back then nobody stored their cars they drove them all year.People didnt start storing their corvettes until about 1974!!!
