Default Shops in Mi.

Greetings, I've got an 87 that I'd like to re-do and would really appreciate the names of any shops in S.E. area that cater to the gen 1 engines. Hard to find these 'Dinosaur' mechanics. It seems if it's not an LS there's not alot of choices. Does anybody know about Master Works on stephenson hwy? I'ts just down from where I work. Also, I live in Flint so anything up my way would be great. Thanks very much in advance Mike

Although this vendor is not in your "backyard" of Flint, I highly recommend Vettestorations.com Very passionate and have a great eye for detail on repairing the C1-C3's. I would not hesitate to hand them over the keys to my 82CE (and that says alot!) They are located in Southfield.

Werner Meir is one of the most respected Corvette historians/restorers in the Corvette community. Long time NCRS member and a retired GM engineer,Werner owns and operates Masterwerks in Troy. His work has been featured at Carlisle, the NCM, Bloomington Gold and Meadowbrook Concours 'd Elegance. Doesn't get much better than that. Although he specializes in early Corvettes, I'm sure he can asist you.

Danny Kellermeyer in Ortonville is also very good. He builds, repairs and races Corvettes.
