Looks like I'll be joining you in the job hunt. Six months ago I left the company I had been with for ten year to start my own business rehabbing houses. I cannot describe how much I have enjoyed the last six months, but unfortunatly the house I just finished isn't selling as quick as I needed it to. The general slowdown has really hurt the custom rehabbing business, seems everyone wants a fixer upper now.
I went so far as to call my old company today and chewed the fat with a few of the Senior VPs, who knows? I left on pretty good terms with everyone and I think my mental batteries are recharged enough to deal with corporate life again. Of course I blew keeping my senority and vacation, but what the heck it's only time:eek:.
Well I really should be rewriting my resume instead of jawing here so,
