Mitchy Boy,
Here's a good starting place for you my friend I have been researching this topic for 2 years now and your ex-employer is not the only tuner in the Country, and many, many other professional tuners on this forum, have information 100% oppossite of your opinion, and if you do a little research you will see what I am talking about.
Let's do this, don't turn my thread into a bunch of and arguments and if you have nothing positive to add here take it to pm my friend where we can debate back and forth if you would like (and if I feel like wasting my time and energy).
I will agreee that all C6 Z (LS7) engines are not created equal, and well as any other engine ever produced by the big 3, and some will have much lower power and some will make much more power. I will also agree that most LS7 engines with dyno tunes (tuned by the same tuner) should make power that is comparable to each other (but not identical b/c all engines are not created equal).
I suppose the 8 out of the 10 fastest bone stock C6 Zs on this forum (all 2006 models), down to the runflats, also were making way less power than their newer counter-parts, huh. I also suppose the top 80% of the fastest bone stock C6 Z (all 2006 models) were only making 410 to 430rwhp with those trap speeds and ets). The quarter mile times below is a good start where my info comes from and take it to pm if you want to continue debating me and leave it off this thread if you don't mind!
Oh yeah, almost forgot, thanks for the positive words about my new Z being a nice car (honestly).

Thanks again guys!
This freaking rain right now on Sunday 12 noon, is raining on my new Z06 driving day parade!
Just did a photoshoot over at my brother's house with his Jet Stream Blue Z and my Darth Vader Machine, so as soon as he sends those to me after he comes back from the world of wheels and I get someone who knows what there doing with pics., like Johnny or PFrank, to help me post them up, I will get pictures posted up sooner than later!

So this car that went 10.981 @ 128.90 was 100% stock (without a tune)? Wow... that's pretty good.

I wasn't trying to start anything. I was just curious about where you got your information. I even put a smiley face after my question. If you took it any other way, that was not my intention. The information that I posted wasn't "my opinion", it was factual information that I saw firsthand. I was trying to be positive in offering my advice to you in getting it tuned after you install the CAI.

You Rock Frank, thanks man.
Oh Yeah, the two attracitve young ladies are off limits as the auburn brunette with the longer hair is my brother's daugher and my God Child, so let's keep all our thoughts to ourselves (shall we)!
The Jet Stream Blue Z is my brother Dino's 08 Z06.

Safety Car
Incredible day for me today, I got my black 2006 C6 Z (2lz no nav) home today, its freaking like new with only 7300 miles on it, 20 month extended GMMP warranty, and the car simply ROCKS and looks menacing like a Darth Vader Z, with its black powered coated wheels and home just in time for spring!!!
I am ECSTATIC with this car and already have a brand new Killer Bee and Beehive CA Intake to go on it but that's it for now, as the car is perfect otherwise stock, with its mild to wild exhaust switch and red 427 badges on the hood a powder coated black wheels. Car is a ROCKET SHIP the way it sits and handling and braking is INCREDIBLE and put on about 50 miles today enjoy the 48 degree sunny weather in Chicago.
Thanks go out to forum member Ravine Speed for being a stand up guy on our deal to buy/sell and for a smooth transcation and we were practically neighbors as he just lives 15 minutes from me, thank you Ed!
Pics will go up as soon as I can get one of my corvette buds help me take some pics and get them posted up!

Congrats on your new ride my friend. As you probably guessed, I am very happy for you (and at the same time... a little jealous, cause I could not pull the trigger on that '07. ) But you mentioned the reasons why I did not pull the trigger throughout the post.
Seriously though, congrats!!!
You have a great ride ride. Hope I get the opportunity to see it this summer.
Down the road,
Steve

Hey Jimmy,
Just saw the pics!
Can't believe your brother got his Z out with all that snow in the background.
Those are two sweet looking Vettes!
BTW - maybe I am not so jealous. I don't have near the snow that you have in those pics. OK... no snow at the moment.
Steve
