Re: CRAZY CORNERS.....When are we going??? (MattG)
I am looking at late JUly or early August. Picking the date is the hardest thing. Any ideas?
Aside from that I'm busier than a one armed man in an azz kicking contest at work. I'll try and get everything sorted this weekend.
Feel free to suggest a date when there isn't a huge event happening. Last year it was in late April but this year that timeframe is slammed with events.
Let me know. I'm looking forward to it. I need to stretch the legs of this new machine :yesnod: :smash:

PLEEEEZE have it the weekend of July 27-28th.
I wouldnt be able to make it on Aug 2-4 because I will be roadracing at Waterford Hills on Monday Aug 5th and I will need time to get the car ready. Sorry but roadracing has priority :)

July 27-28th sounds good. That could be the "official" date, and then if there happens to be a sunny lazy weekend in between now and then there's no reason there couldn't be an unannounced warm up run ;) I've really got the feeling that after the last time we may encounter more than a little attention from the local constabulary on the announced run... :p:

Whats Crazy Corners
The Crazy Corners event has a few names. It was originally called the Canadian-American Corvette caravan. That was too long so it was shortened to the Can-Am Caravan. Once the event took place many called it the Crazy Corners because of the roads that were travelled.
Officially it is the Can-Am Caravan that starts in Windsor and heads through Ohio on Car & Driver Magazine's Ten Best roads. The trip can be demanding but the scenery is great, roads are amazing but most importantly we raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation. It is a weekend event with lots of driving on some of the best roads with some great people. Keep an eye peeled in the Great Lakes section for more info in the coming few days.
