Ernie is gone, but he was 92 and had a fantistic life doing what he loved. He was suffering at the end.. Two things will stick in my mind the rest of my life as I think of him:
1. It's loooong gone...!!!
2. He stood there like the house by the side of the road...
Met him, got his autograph and got to listen to some great stories.

It's been tough for us Tiger fans the last year or so. We lost George Kell, Mark Fidrych and now Ernie.

Forgot to include Tiger Stadium on the list.
