Byron drag rules??
how is byron for tech inspection, i have a vert with no roll bars was hopin to see what i can do i,m thinkin i,ll be in low to mid 11,s dont want to get kicked out after 1 pass wich i know rt 66 will do

Byron has the easiest tech I have seen. you should have no problem...I should be in the 10's so we are in the same boat with RT 66....I plan on going also, when do you plan on going? Maybe can meet up and head out together I am on the way there

Great Lakes is (tougher) NHRA, Byron is (less strict) IHRA...
Don't think they will let you run low #'s without a cage???

I run 9's at Byron all day long and no cage they say nothing, I even had a passenger a few times. They prep the track way better then Great lakes also, Let me know when your going I might go if the weather gets cooler.

Ken (BlownC5) is right, you can run 11s, 10s, 9s no problem there.
I was running mid 11s back in the day many moons ago (2001) in my old head/cam 98 C5 Roadster, and the owner would come out and pat me on the back and say WOW, what did you have done to that thing.
