Default Anyone Know this Car?

It's a Victory Red '05 C6 sitting at Elco Chevy in St. Louis. Significant mods including Halltech intake, headers, straight thru exhaust, tune (pigtail), clutch and a fairly radical cam.

Dealer claims not to know much about it. I'd like to understand all of the mods that have been done and who did the work.

Thanks!

Don't know the car, but Elco has a service guy, Bill, who is suppose to be the Vette guy to go to. Might see if he knows anything about it.

Thanks. I'm aware of Bill, but the sales guy (whom I've bought from before, he's an honest guy) did seemed to know a little about it. He says the previous owner claimed 475rwhp, but they are a little sheepish about giving out info from previous owners.

I know this because I traded a car there recently and they cited those same concerns to me, ensuring my own privacy, since I had records to go with the car. They basically did not want anything with my name or address on it that could be traced back to me.

That said, there can't be too many shops that can do a Vette like this, and the Carfax shows its local. I know PBJ is one shop.

I was actually hoping someone in the Vette community might know the previous owner and maybe know a little about it.

I came over from a Porsche 911 Turbo and I know that community is pretty tight as well.

I've had sales guys go both ways, let you contact the previous owner if they aren't afraid of what they have to say and other way around. Dealers in general don't know much about the trade ins they get, even if they did the deal seems like. Might try some of the clubs around the area.
Never know, a shop might not have even don it, guy could have done hte work himself, screwed it up and decided to trade it. PBJ does do a lot of Vettes, and other cars, and does good work from what I hear. I would image he does to many to be able to recognize a particular car from a description. Could always take it to your own service place to have looked at. Good luck.

Why not have the salesperson contact the previous owner and see if he minds them giving out contact info? If they previous owner says no way, then you'll have to get the info some other way.
