Yeah its easy to do that.. fall through some ice, get decapitated by a wire fence ect... just have to ride cautiously..

I would have to agree. My only expirience was my buddy had a race sled and told me to give it a rip. No helmet moron that i am,i ran across lake barrington at 90 and it felt like 150. What a rush, i was frozen by the time i went back and forth. They are amazingly fast

Troy, I'm just putting out feelers. If most want to go to the U.P. I'm game. Wanted to see if any respond at all, then come to a consensus.

Snowmobiling can be very dangerous! I take it very seriously. I've watched too many people get hurt. A rider must know his or her limitations....................Joe

Deb,
It's a great hobby as well as very therapuetic. I get lost everytime I ride. Can't be explained..........

Troy,
Thanks for the heads up on the Floe 4 place.

I have either a pick up or Tahoe and a two place enclosed.

I'm heading out to get a backpack today. On a personal note, looking to take a three to four day tour of the U.P. & Northern Wi this year.

I would go if it was in the Hurley, WI area, where apparently there are 4 strip clubs on the main street.

I've been there to support the single moms and it aint all that great to be honest. There was one place that had about 20 or so ladies the rest had 3-4. It was a let down to say the least. The one with 20 was ok tho...Its about a 50 min drive in the car from where I stay and about 2.5-3hrs hours by sled.

Agreed, never ride out of control or above your abilities. I dont drink and ride like alot of people do, thats how **** happens. I can walk next door to the bar from the house I rent off trail 6 in Winchester WI.

Communicators in the helmets are always a plus. It also cool to hook up your ipod and blaze the trails listening to your favorite tunes....

I'll go just about anywhere, hell I'll even ditch ride around here with good snow....I just prefer the UP'er (Yoooper)

Joe, you can update me to anywhere there is snow

SW Michigan is going to be the place this year! Extra warm lake + winter west winds = Lake Effect Guns a blazing!
Allegan / Hopkins/ Wayland - all Groomed trials.
The Allegan County Area Snowmobile Club just got a new groomer end of last year - they are running 2 groomers this year - so the trails should be better than ever.
