I think people need to give him some credit. He has no receivers and the worst offensive line in the league and still passed for 3000 yards two years in a row. If they get Vincent Jackson and build their line, I have a feeling he will blossom. What's plan B? We are going to build around him, so hopefully they get him a supporting cast and then lets see what happens.

The thing that bothered me the most was our 3rd string QB (that nearly tied the game) scrambling through the formation photo book while Cutler sat beside him starring at the ground. He should have been doing everything he could to help the kid and the team!

Some fans buy to much into the media hype and are quick to judge. Unless you are jay cutler, you don't know how bad the injury is (or the medical staff). I have a friend that had the SAME injury, he could walk around fine, and did not limp at all... now when he tried to play basketball..or anything like that... forget it.

It's easy to jump on the Cutler band-wagon and hate him, he's an easy scape-goat.. when really he is not the problem. Look at the joke of an offensive line we had most of the season... look at the bone-headed play calling... Collins... really Lovie you are more of a retard than I thought

Think about it..this was probably the biggest game of his career, a chance to get his team into the superbowl.. why would he work all season and take the beating he did, and pull himself out like that? And NO I don't care what he did in Denver, different team and season all together, and differnt circumstances.

100%.

He has some great talent, athleticism, very competitive, and has a very strong arm, but needs to desperately work on his mechanics (footwork, throwing off back foot), and needs to minimize some of the bone headed decisions he makes.

Not certain how his teamates perceive him they certainly seem to be behind him; however, he may have to work on his leadership skills also (?).

That being said he certainly did not quit on the team, has been tuff and durable for 2 years now, never sliding like all QBs do when they run, and not going to give up on him yet (but he needs to improve big time in the above areas).

His media skills b/c of his personality, body language, facial impessions sucks from a PR standpoint for him, and that is why their are so many haters, and he will not get that monkey off his back (all the haters) until he WINS, WINS and WINS (it all) and only time will tell if that will ever happen. Had he brought a Championship to Chicago this year he would be a Super Star now (like Rogers), and most of the haters would have immeidately jumped on his band wagon, etc.

THat ball being said we REALLY have are hands full with the Packers the next 6 years or so, especially with Aaron Rogers being the great QB he has quicky turned into in just 3 years; and will there even be a football season next year!

Cutler is Diabetic. May not mean anything to some. But is has it's effects on him, for sure. I refuse to use this as an excuse.

He could have owned this town if he would have come in with a positive attitude! What does it cost you to give the press what they want, a decent interview. Flutie or Grossman are twice the man with half the ability.

A smile is a frown turned upside-down but a pout is a pout no matter what spin you put on it...

I'm not sure how people can judge him. He spent a lot of his playing time on his *** looking up at the sky. He took a whipping like a man this year IMO. I don't remember him going off in the press on crappy blocking. (He was sacked 52 times. The next closest guy was at 40). God knows how many times he scrambled to avoid getting smoked.

He had a decent completion rate despite having a weak bunch of receivers. If you look at who he had to throw to, versus higher rated QBS, it's embarrassing.

I'm going to give his pouty puss the benefit of the doubt. He's not playing a traditional QB role right now. A couple of unfortunate ill-timed camera shots of him on the sidelines IMO

especially the bold part. Some of you guys don't realize how fuked up news media is..they are showing you what they want you to see... besides I could care less about his media presence, he's not paid to look good and be an actor..he's paid to play.

As said above, how many times did he complain about the Offensive line to the press, or how much did he whine about being sacked 500 times

You can kill and torture dogs and become a media hero/role model. I'm sure Jay can figure out a way to turn his image around.
