I am going to have a Edlebrock supercharger installed on my C6. I have the installation narrowed down to two places, HP Performance in Mundulien IL and Libertville Chevy. I know the main guy from HP left and is now at Libertville, Any one have any other input either way?
That is where you can buy Edelbrock products - If I put my zip code in and search for all of the companies within ten miles of my Zipcode that I can order their products from, I get a list of 33 companies... Libertyville Performance Center does not show up first on my list. On their website, just click "where to buy" and put in your zipcode and who shows up...
Plus, that does not mean that they are the preferred installer. It just means that they sell the product.
I called them - and they told me HP Performance.
Everyone has their favorite shops - To each their own. I am just trying to help the original thread starter as he is interested in installing Edelbrock goods. Thus, why not go to their preferred installer in the area?

Does it really matter what a "list" says? Having personal experience with both shops, I think Libertyville Chevy is definitely #1. But as you say to each their own.

I know both Libertyville (Kevin) and HP Performance (Craig) very well.
The truth is; you cant go wrong with either shop.
I know HP is a preferred Edelbrock shop. I also know that HP has installed DOZENs of blowers on C6's, including mine.
To the OP, HP is open every Saturday morning and a number of vette guys hang out every sat for coffee and donuts and to talk cars.
At any given Saturday, there is usually 10-15 vettes there, many of which have blowers. Perhaps you should stop by this Saturday and say hello. I will be there with my supercharged Z.

Superman Z - I was just noting that the link from where to buy on their site diplays the closest shops by zipcode - That is all. It makes no difference to me what a list says.
Not sure why I am getting bashed when all I was doing was helping the OP with informaion on who is the preferred installation shop in his area for the products he was looking to install. No harm in that.
Hopefully one day we will get to meet in person so you can see that I am a nice guy
