Well I may not be able to bend my knees properly, I have walk with a cane, and I am still in physical therapy 2-3 days a week but the vette's home and I can drive it. Life just took a huge turn for the better. Now if I could only go back to work and earn some money... Oh well can't have everything I guess.

Wow partner ! Sounds like you had a rough ride . The damn blood clot issue is the scariest , and most painful part of the whole process . Sounds like you are past that - thank God ! I just had a partial knee replacement on my clutch leg on May 5th . I'm up and walking , with no help other than the Vicodin 2-3 times a day , and PT 2-3 times a week . I walk about a mile per day , around my neighborhood , then its ice , ice , ice with the cooler machine they gave me .

I had my 2010 GS out for a drive yesterday for about 45 min. because I couldnt take seeing it sit in garage anymore . They say I'm making really good progress because I'm fairly young ( 40 ), and motivated , and my legs are pretty strong , so I'm grateful .

I just wanted to drop a line to a fellow enthusiast thats got knee issues , and to say that we both have good motivation to get better - to get back on the road , in our awesome machines !

I wish you the best of luck and the speediest of recoveries , and I'll say a prayer for you .

Get well soon ! Matt

Thanks for the well wishes Matt. Glad to hear that your recovery is going well. My biggest problem is getting in and out of the car. Once I'm in it its all good. Take care of that knee and I'll be thinking about you.

Don I appreciate the offer and I may take you up on it if driving the stick becomes a problem but only if you promise not to behave. If I wanted that I would have my daughter drive me in my ford flex.

Hope to see everyone on June 1.
