I had a great time going to St Thomas with Joe, Larry P., Bill, Renard and Mike.
The weather was a little cold but everything was okay. The caravan back was better than going. Burning up the 401 with Mike, Bill, Ken, Zack, Larry P. and myself. Talking about the days adventure over food at Bubbies in Windsor.
Likewise Larry, always fun meeting other forum members.
I even managed to achieve a new top speed of 161 MPH. :smash: Thanks to Ken for leading the way. Let's just hope the video gets destroyed before ending up on-line.
Geee! sorry Dave wouldnt you know I had to forget someone. Dont know how I did. But it wasnt that I forgot you I just forgot to mention your name.
Hope to see you again soon!

Re: Great Time: Caravan (harleyvette)
Great seeing everyone. I've got alot of work to do on my 1/4 mile times. 13.24 :nonod: . Many thanks to Ken & Mike for kicking my **** all day. . A big thanks to Motown Muscle for sponsoring the event. Heres some pics. Not for the bandwidth impaired http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zero...769215#2769215
I had a good time as well. Too bad I didn't even break into the 12's. Either my car is a slouch or I can't drive worth rat $h!t.......likely the latter. Leaving early doesn't help develop my skills either.
All I can say is Mike Valentine is my friend:yesnod:
Definitely a great day!! Despite the fact my car wasnt there :cry The 160mph run was definitely the highlight! Not to mention KEN KING running a 12.4 1/4 MILE..... BEST OF THE BUNCH FOR THE DAY!!!!
The way home was definitely fun! 5 Freakin vettes, and not 1 Valentine...  and doing speeds of 140-160MPH....or is that KPH??
Hey guys, I had a great time yesterday. I am real glad so many of you could make it out! Yesterday was definitely one of the funnest days I have had dragracing. I wish it would have been a few degrees warmer, but oh well, nevertheless a great time.
I am pretty happy with what I ran for my first time at the track with the new motor, 11.68 @ 122mph with a 1.906 60foot. With some ET Streets or some stickier tires, I know some real low 11s are within reach.
I wish I could of made it but an electrician friend ended up having the day off and wanted to do some wiring he owes me for a planned hot tub and other 220v work, so I drilled holes and pulled wire. Sounds like everyone had a great time, abiet alittle chilly. Was the track surface prepped or just cold??
Hi guys,
Glad to hear you all had a good time. I noticed a caravan of Michigan Vettes flying east on the 401 Saturday morning. Congratulations on your fine runs at St. Thomas. Too bad Bytes U and I could not have joined you but had taxes to tweek
