Default RHI Lifts - Schaumburg?

Any of you have experience with RHI in Schaumburg?
I am contemplating putting a 4 post in my garage and they have a house brand lift I am waiting to hear who the manufacturer is and they also provide an install service if I ship a lift to them. They can deliver and install for me. I do not have the means to haul a lift and I am looking for a service that can take care of the receipt, delivery and install.

My son's buddy's father has two 4-post lifts from them and he has no complaints.

Thanks punz.
They quoted me $3008.00 delivered and installed. I asked who made the lifts and left my number yesterday morning because the lady I spoke with said they just changed suppliers and she wasn't sure. Have not heard back.

Would you mind me asking you what they quoted for the 4 post lift? I will likely be adding one of these to my 3rd car area of my garage to gain some additional storage or have room for a possible 4th car. I want to epoxy the floor prior so Im waiting until the weather breaks before starting this project.

Thanks

$3008 was for a 4 post delivered and installed to saint Charles.
I didn't have the cost of the lift only.
Included drip pans and steel drive on ramps.

Does anyone locally have any suggestions or referrals for installation of a Greg Smith 4 post?

Ryan intalled a 4 post and single post lift in my garage a few years ago. All still working fine and keeping the cars up!

You maybe better off buying from the same company that is installing it...

Greg Smith is located in Indy so I will need to find someone to deliver and install. They said they can find an installer for me when ready. All the reading I have been doing on here no one has posted any issues with this company.

RHI was supposed to call me back after first phone call with lift info and never did.

Place in Hanover Park, forget the name right now, said they can provide the service I need so it is starting to come together. Looking on getting a 4 post direct lift pro park 9+.

My extended family has 4 Greg Smith pro park 8's. Three were delivered and installed in Park Ridge. The last one was dropped shipped and we installed ourselfs. We did have a small fork lift we used to move the track areas. We have only had one issue. One of the rollers for the cables started making noise just out of warranty time. We called and had a warranty part in a few days.
The company that usually sells at world of wheels and other local car shows is :
http://www.banglesons.com/
Very competive prices and I know they have delivery and install in the Chicagoland area.

RHI installed mine a few years ago. They had a supplier issue with the bearings in the pulleys and they came out and replaced all the pulleys in my lift at no charge. I got the larger lift since at the time I was parking the MDX underneath and needed the higher lift. If you are going to swap cars on the lift a few times a week like I do, get the aluminum ramps. Your back will thank you.

Greg smith is a good company to deal with that's who I bought my mid-rise lift through. My thought is if the company supplying the product installs or reccomends and installer there would be less of chance of finger pointing when a part is missing or defective ect.

Curious if you pulled the trigger on this lift. I'm looking for something in the next 3-4 months.

I haven't bought one yet. I narrowed it down to the Greg smith pro park 8+ since I am 6'-4".
Only issue I see is my vette rear tire measurement is 76" outside tire edge. The outside runway edge measurement is 74.75". Guessing this means I would have tire overhang which I don't want. I haven't had time to try and find what z06, gs, zr1 folks are using with best results regarding being able to pull on without scraping front or tires hanging over.

Actually looking at my old notes the model was a pro 8 ext with an outside edge runway measurement of 80.5". They have an xlt that is 86.5" by 15' long but prob too big for my application.

I got a bonus and was contemplating a liftmaster and four post.

In the garage I'm in at the race track, 5 of the guys have RHI lifts (they all got them probably 4 years ago). None of them have had a problem. I've got a Rotary Revolution lift and another guy has (I think) a Backyard Buddy. The posts on the Rotary and the Backyard Buddy are definitely heavier duty than those on the RHI's, and overall the RHI's don't seem quite as sturdy, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with them. They've been perfect so far for the guys that have them. In general they always have a car on them, though they don't get raised and lowered much (maybe a couple of times a week during track season). Maybe they wouldn't hold up as well if they saw heavier use, or maybe they would, I'm not sure.

What kind of cars are on these lifts?
Do you have a vette widebody/Z06 and do the tires fit on the ramps?
